Can Pepsi make you “more happy”?!
Apparently so! Renown for its innovative marketing strategies, Pepsi is at it again – this time with a new tagline. And 35 unique can designs.
As part of its grand rebranding strategy Pepsi has unveiled its new campaign “More Happy”. Going the digital way with the launch of a series of interconnected websites from Tribal DDB/Dallas, the new concept is all about putting the power in the hands of the users.
Named “This Is The Beginning”, the first of these micro sites is already live, with new sites slated to debut every three weeks or so. Through these micro sites the company aims to create custom experiences that users discover on their own [via URLs on individual cans].
The idea being Pepsi means different things to different people. So now customers are given an opportunity to creatively express what Pepsi means to them – with their individualistic stroke shaping the new Pepsi can design. From fashion to technology, from sports to entertainment, from cars to music, anything and everything.
Consumers have been invited to enter a 60-day contest to design a billboard that will hang in Times Square in Manhattan beginning in April.
The company will launch a new design every three weeks, accounting for 35 in total.
