Mainduck.com – Branding to Online Promotion
When the name of the brand is as unique as MainDuck (which in Hindi means a “frog”) the task for the designing agency (yours truly) is clearly cut out.
A mobile content provider, Mainduck is the brainchild of India’s entertainment whiz team at Optimystix. Offering video and audio content through mobile service providers, a website was required to create a buzz around Mainduck.com. No e-commerce, no mobile transfers – just plain and simple sampling of what was out there offered through India’s premium telecom service providers.
The challenge was to create a website which was appealing to the TG of 14-35 years. Right from the designing of the logos to the website to the goofy mascot in the animation – a fun feel has been created around everything.
Integrated with an online marketing campaign, Mainduck.com, which had no online presence, has suddenly 3000 pages of appearances across the web in various websites. All this – in a matter of 30 days.
