It’s Not About the Bike: My Journey Back to Life

Lance Armstrong BiographyOne of the greatest sportsperson of all time, Lance Armstrong’s Biography is nothing sort of a miracle. A story of grit, determination, courage, pain, strength (mental and physical) and a winning attitude, it has all the elements of a Hollywood movie.

It’s not about the bike but the story of Lance Armstrong, who becomes the symbol of success at a very young age, however, at the peak of his form and fitness, destiny strikes him the biggest blow of his life – cancer. A blow so powerful and fatal that would have left a mere mortal devastated – mentally, physically and monetarily.

But successful men are made of spirits that always rise to the toughest of the challenges life has to offer. Like a true champion, Lance fights against all the odds and not only overcomes the deadly cancer but once again participates in the Tour and creates world records which shall remain so for a very long time.

His fight against the cancer, his determination in getting back to the race and his desire for succeed is what this inspiring book all about.

This is a must for every book lover’s collection and I have lost count of the number of times I have gifted this book. Whenever I am down, a few pages of this book serve as the guiding light and motivate me to get up and give a knock out punch to the unfavorable odds.

Thank you Lance – it’s true, life is never about the destination – but the journey itself!!!
