Nature strikes back!

It was long overdue. The way we have been mistreating our planet it was only a matter of time before nature would unleash her fury. The repercussions of our own irresponsibility in nurturing and protecting the world we live in, is

now manifesting in the form of unforeseen rain havocs and devastating floods. The price we have to pay for disturbing nature’s balance.

It’s Not Reality – It’s Augmented Reality

New smartphone applications aim to give users an enhanced view of the world around them by combining camera, GPS and compass functions with information gleaned from the mobile Web. Augmented reality apps turn smartphones into viewfinders that combine the image of your surroundings with tagged information about where to restaurants, hotels, metro stops, etc.

Turn a corner, and the markers reflect the new scene. Click a marker for a restaurant, and you can see customer Boost customer satisfaction + retention with Salesforce.com Service Cloud 2. This computer-enhanced view of the world is not just available to cyborgs in science-fiction movies. Increasingly it can be found on cellphones, for free or on the cheap, through programs that provide “augmented reality.”
