Though Getz Pharma Research is a company that’s dedicatedly into research solutions, the client was looking for a very different online identity. The client gave us complete creative freedom and we decided to do away with a typical treatment and go for something unconventional and totally non-pharma like.

With this mindset, finally, we zeroed in on the main highlight of the company – its spectacular looking, upcoming state-of-the-art research centre at Belapur (Mumbai). By using it in the design structure rather than just showing it as a building, we combined the company’s USP and requirement and turned it into a complete flash website with a sleek design and seamless navigation.

The study examined the offline sales impact of online reviews for restaurants, hotels, travel, legal, medical, automotive and home services. Nearly one out of every four Internet users (24 percent) reported using online reviews prior to paying for a service delivered offline. Of those who consulted an online review, 41 percent of restaurant reviewers subsequently visited a restaurant, while 40 percent of hotel reviewers subsequently stayed at a hotel.

Online Reviews Very Influential in Offline Purchase Decisions

More than three-quarters of review users in nearly every category reported that the review had a significant influence on their purchase, with hotels ranking the highest (87 percent). Ninety-seven percent of those surveyed who said they made a purchase based on an online review said they found the review to have been accurate. Review users also noted that reviews generated by fellow consumers had a greater influence than those generated by professionals.

Sometimes a single incident can change the entire course of your life. That too in a split of second. Vantage Point is a movie about one such incident that touches the life of more than one person and how it is seen from the perspective of 8 different people.

The US President has been shot. And a series of bomb explodes, massacring people and creating mayhem among the city dwellers. A terrorist attack has just struck the world summit in Spain where the President was addressing a meeting on the global war against terror.

In a twenty-three minute period, the assassination attempt on the President unfolds through the movie capturing the incidents just before and after the President is shot. The story is revealed as seen from the eyes of 8 strangers, each a witness – the body guard, the president, an American tourist, GNN reporter and others.

The USP of Vantage Point is its unique and gripping style of story telling. Each time the scene rewinds, adding a new piece to the larger puzzle and taking the story a little further into the future. And just about the time when it is likely to get predictable, another new twist is introduced. The film continues at an uninterrupted pace right till the very last scene, keeping one at the edge of the seat.

Directed by Pete Travis, this fast paced action flick has everything – a fantastic story line, a tight Screenplay, brilliant performances and even a thrilling car chase! The climax of the movie, though a tad predictable, is equally explosive and heart-pounding.

Bottom line – Definitely worth watching!
