The Potter Mania is back again! After watching the Order of the Phoenix, I’ve been on the Hogwarts Express too many times! I got my copy of the Deathly Hallows on the 21st July (as did all the other maniacs like me) but realized that I hadn’t read the Half Blooded Prince at all! So I went out and got that book too! I read book 6 and 7 back to back.

I would get up in the middle of the night many times… dreaming about Lord Voldemort trying to kill me! That’s how much I got involved with – book 7. It’s a smashing book right from the 1st chapter (apart from the first half of the 2nd chapter which is really a drag!) until the very ending of the book. Every chapter leaves you with the excitement of… what’s next. What happens next?!? So of course, I hardly slept during the week.

Rowling has a lot to say. She’s been telling us a story over the last 6 years. And now she suddenly wants to conclude with this book. So, at times, you do feel that there is too much happening in this one book. However, the book manages to answer all your questions about Harry Potter & Voldemort. That’s what it’s supposed to do it. Isn’t it? She’s done it well, leaving you with little to guess and longing for more!

There’s a lot of action happening in this book and there’s never a moment when ‘nothing’ is happening really. Harry, Hermione and Ron are out of Hogwarts and on their way in search for the other Horcurxes of Voldemort. Their journey is splendid. On their way they get help from their family and friends. Dumbledore’s Army still stands strong and looks after Hogwarts for them. The order of the phoenix still is trying their best too. Hermoine and Ron still fight about every single thing – but they’re such cute lovebirds!!! You just wanna say – “shut up and kiss him you fool” – to Hermoine sooooo many times!

The three of them appear so much more mature and sensible. The courage, the understanding, the knowledge and the true power of friendship – makes them unbeatable.

After reading the book, I’ve watched all of the movies again – and I’m still dreaming about potters and weasley’s and malfoy’s and what nots! If you are a potter fan, I’m sure you are going through the same thing.

Blackle.com – Saving Energy Everytime You Search

Blackle was created to remind us all of the need to take small steps in our everyday lives to save energy. Blackle searches are powered by Google Custom Search.

Blackle saves energy because the screen is predominantly black. “Image displayed is primarily a function of the user’s color settings and desktop graphics, as well as the color and size of open application windows; a given monitor requires more power to display a white (or light) screen than a black (or dark) screen.”

In January 2007 a blog post titled “Black Google Would Save 750 Megawatt-hours a Year” proposed the theory that a black version of the Google search engine would save a fair bit of energy due to the popularity of the search engine. Since then there has been skepticism about the significance of the energy savings that can be achieved and the cost in terms of readability of black web pages.

We believe that there is value in the concept because even if the energy savings are small, they all add up. Secondly we feel that seeing Blackle every time we load our web browser reminds us that we need to keep taking small steps to save energy. So, save energy one search at a time ! Use www.blackle.com

“Non Pharma looking!”
“Out of the box!”

It is very rare that we get a brief as short as this. And though it becomes a daunting task to create something on such a short brief, but hey, who said life is easy…and we at PHI love challenges.

Armed with this brief, the solution came in the form of a concept, based on the most basic of human traits – “CURIOSITY”. With this, we created a solution which played on this human trait and thanks to the Adobe Flash acted as a technology enabler !!!

Easy on the eye colors, unconventional layout and an unique yet easy navigation style; presenting before you a non-pharma looking pharma website: www.archpharmalabs.com
